This is something I wanted to experiment with, I felt like I was bringing SO many different tubes of paint when I went out to paint. So in this one I brought only the very basics (I even gave up my favorite green!) Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Yellow Pale, Ultramarine Blue, and Titanium White.

ReplyDeletedo you like Ultramarine best for a limited palette? I have a hard time getting it to work for my greens.
ReplyDeleteI do prefer Ultramarine, I used to use French Ultramarine, but my it made my greens a little dull. I've heard of others adding Viridian to a limited palette, I would imagine that would add a lot more variety for greens.
