Carpinteria Salt Marsh - Daily painting by Sharon Schock
I was trying something a little different for today, I felt like maybe some of my paintings were too bright and I wanted to see what it was like to tone it down a bit. I'm trying to be more open to experimentation, because I know that's a great way to learn.....it's frustrating though.

Sharon, I feel like your paintings are full of energy and color! This one is great, too. I'm impressed with how well you convey mood with your bold brushstrokes and colors (especially with your shadows!). I'm always experimenting, too, so I support you:)
