I took the kids to the beach last week, it was cold and cloudy but they had SO much fun, and also got SO dirty! The light and the low tide were amazing painting inspiration as well.

Anacapa Lighthouse - 12x16
Another one from my last show. This one had been on my "to paint" list for a long long time. It took a while to decide just how I wanted it to be, particularly that tricky cliffside. But I'm really happy with the results.
