If you're in Santa Barbara for this weeks First Thursday celebrations come visit me at the Divine Inspiration Gallery. I'll be there all night, with some new work, and I'd love to talk to you!
We got home late last night from our Denver trip. Little breaks like that always make me so excited to get back to painting. Hopefully I'll paint some great stuff this week!
I stumbled across this view while I was at Trader Joe's the other day. I love when the setting sun makes even mundane street corners suddenly luminous.
I've never painted a dog before (and I really don't have plans to make this an ongoing thing), but I liked how the light was hitting this guy, so I thought I would give it a whirl.
I haven't posted in a few days. Not because I haven't been painting, but because I've been too busy painting to get around to photographing the finished ones.
I had another go at this group, I felt rushed while I was painting it though, so I'm not as happy as I was with the first one. However there are certain parts of it that I really like.
Hi! I'm Sharon Schock, an artist living and working in Carpinteria, California. In 2009 I started a daily painting project where I complete one small painting each day. These paintings will be up for auction or available in my etsy shop soon after they're posted here. To be the first to know about each new posting enter your email at the top of the page.
