First painting since the birth...I'm depressingly rusty! But still probably not the worst painting that I've done, and it's good to get back to it, even for just a little bit.

Carpinteria Salt Marsh at Dawn - Landscape oil painting - 6x6
This is one of my favorite places in Carpinteria, especially in the morning. And there are some of the craziest looking birds in this marsh (anyone who knows me knows how excited I get about birds). One looked like it had the body of a penguin, but with really long legs, best. bird. ever.
