Finished this piece just in time before the tide got me (but not before I got a sunburn!). This was one of those paintings where I hated it the whole way through, until suddenly at the end I liked it.
Oh my goodness. I am a big fan of your artwork. I love your style, your tecnique. I am so amazed at how you accomplish certain feelings or looks with a stroke of the knife. Did it take a long time to get used to using the pallet knife to apply paint to a canvas?
Hi! I'm Sharon Schock, an artist living and working in Carpinteria, California. In 2009 I started a daily painting project where I complete one small painting each day. These paintings will be up for auction or available in my etsy shop soon after they're posted here. To be the first to know about each new posting enter your email at the top of the page.
