View from Central Park - 8x10

We were running through Central Park trying to make it to the big fountain before the sun went down completely.  The setting sun gave us great views like this one.

Where I've been the last two weeks

Here's a little peek into what we've been up to! We're finally back, and boy do I have a lot of painting to do! We went to Italy and Switzerland, I had never been to Switzerland before and it's now my favorite place in the world, Gimmelwald especially, it's like heaven on earth. 

Skyscapers - 6x12

This will be my last post for the next couple of weeks, we are leaving tomorrow for Italy/Switzerland.  Very exciting! And I will be away from email and computers (my wrist is singing songs of joy, it still hasn't recovered from website building last week www.sharonschockstudio.com).  

I thought I'd post one from the New York series that I've started. I've been working on these the past few days and I've really enjoyed exploring the different grays...completely opposite from what I'm used to painting around here.
