A version of "Lighthouse Hill" by Edward Hopper. My kitchen had a big empty wall, and since I don't really like hanging up my own artwork (I'm much too critical!) I made this to fill the space.
Hi! I'm Sharon Schock, an artist living and working in Carpinteria, California. In 2009 I started a daily painting project where I complete one small painting each day. These paintings will be up for auction or available in my etsy shop soon after they're posted here. To be the first to know about each new posting enter your email at the top of the page.

ReplyDeleteYou're my favourite painter.
And I have a good eye.
Hopper is my second fave.
You remain first.
Trish
What a great idea! Nice painting, did you learn from Hopper when you were painting the painting?
