ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, I was particularly taken by the Morning in Edinburgh. I lived in Glasgow, Scotland for 6 years and visited Edinburgh several times. When were you there? I think the most striking thing about the city is the patina of age. No matter where you go you are always conscious of being someplace where hundreds of generations have gone before you. Love your other paintings also but that one evoked many nice memories.
ReplyDeleteAm a google follower and also subscribed to your newsletter. I do not use websites such as facebook of twitter.
Leaving a comment for that pretty painting. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso following on twitter; @cmgarcia.
ReplyDeleteIt took me forever to figure out how to leave a comment-so you know how much I love you and your painting! Anyway, I'm now a follower, I looked around your site, and I posted on facebook. Also, I lit a candle in your name, did a little chant, and sacrificed a jar of jelly. So...I win, right?

Hello! Love your work! You make everything look so smooth even though you use large visible brush strokes! That is a technique I need to work on myself, sometimes I get so obsessed with making everything perfect. But loose brush strokes add such a nice feeling to a painting. Keep up the great work! I would love to win your beautiful little lemon painting! christinaleelong@yahoo.com

Wow! Your landscapes are reminiscent of the Group of Seven landscapes except they depict tropical locations. I’m usually more drawn to the realism style such as the Hudson River School landscapes and trompe-l'Å“il style of paintings, but your still life and landscapes are very stunning. I would love to win the Citrus Blue painting. Thank you so much for giving me a chance to win it.
