Here's a sneak peek at one of the new pieces I'll have available at next weekends studio tour. Come by and see me May 9th, 10:00-5:00 for this and lots more!
Starting to get things prepped for the annual Artists Studio Tour! I can't believe it's already that time again. So mark your calendars for May 9th, I'm only doing one day this year instead of all weekend. So come see me! I'm hoarding up some new work as well as offering great studio prices on other pieces. You can find maps and information here
I was driving home on the 192 on a completely gorgeous day, the setting sun was breaking through the fog and just making everything glow. Wish I could have captured more of it, but with no place to pull over and a fussing toddler in the back this is as good as it got :)
The building in this painting is such a random color, but I love it. I've painted it several times and I love the pop of coral/orange it brings to each of my pieces. I hope they never change it.
Like I said in my last post, this afternoon light is killing me! Golds and blues and crisp mountain silhouettes. It's been so warm lately, and the tater tot and I have been spending a lot of time at the beach...I never get tired of this view though...
This was the view walking home with Lily in the stroller one day. The afternoon light is just killing me lately, I want to paint everything! But this particular afternoon these trees were glowing and calling to me, especially contrasted with the blue of the sky.
Hi! I'm Sharon Schock, an artist living and working in Carpinteria, California. In 2009 I started a daily painting project where I complete one small painting each day. These paintings will be up for auction or available in my etsy shop soon after they're posted here. To be the first to know about each new posting enter your email at the top of the page.
